Shining like a gem in the sun, a glassy surface of polished dark pennshell with light pennshell inlay adorn the top and all four sides. With bundled rattan frame and stretcher below, refined detailing with leather strapping and light pennshell drawer pull complete this one of a kind design.
British Colonial styling is iconic for blending timeless traditional lines with exquisite custom hardware, hand carved details, indigenous natural materials and the rich aged patina of fine mahogany. Drawing inspiration from the British West Indies, Island Traditions offers an inspired view of casual elegant living, embracing the warmth and familiarity that we all aspire to convey in our home décor. In keeping with British Colonial styling, designs feature hand-hewn tops, turned posts, breakfront profiles, raised panel moldings and hardware that showcases an artisan’s touch. Enjoy a new take on traditional living with the relaxed signature style of Tommy Bahama.
British West Indies designs crafted in Mahogany solids and veneers in a rich brown coloration, moderately distressed and hand rubbed to a soft waxy luster. Tops are hand hewn for authenticity and certain items are accented with a custom tortoise shell finish. Custom hardware has a warm aged brass finish.
